Phexis, someone whom I've written about before, has come along with a remix of an up and coming single, Came Along by Amtrac. If you listen to the original and squint your ears ... you still might not be able to make any similarities between the two tracks, nonetheless, his talent is once again on show and this cool and smooth remix is not something to go unnoticed.
It takes this track about 1:13 before any noise other than the warbling synth comes in, and when it does you wonder if it's a remix of Lady Gaga's Edge Of Glory - her song has similar noises at the beginning. Anyway, somehow you manage to let yourself keep the listening and going for the sake of something coming next ... and it does indeed - when it hits you, albeit a soft climax, it's a great one. The relaxing vibe that takes over this seemingly collected track at 1:42 brings across a whole new genre of in-house chill and manages to make you reminisce on the likes of Jamiroquai or Daft Punk. It's spaced out and chilled out aura fills the capacity of your brain and is the foundation for the ultimate in rest and recovery. Stunning stuff.
