Presence, Power, Peaceful, Parachute Youth.

Beginning on a sensational bass riff that is then shrouded by an incredible and smoky vocal, Parachute Youth seem to catch the attention of the listener within just a few seconds. From then on the song becomes an almost Dance/Indie track with influences from the likes of The Temper Trap and maybe SBTRKT - This is, Can't Get Better Than This.
The video focuses around a boy in Africa who fixes a motorbike and sets off on a journey. It coincides beautifully. On this journey, it's like the director was smart enough to make it so that you feel as if you are really there and the things you see are, to be honest, outstanding.
Towards the end, our protagonist comes across a group of older guys who challenge him to a motorbike race across the seductively orange tinted landscapes - he seems to manage second place in the race that finds a heart-warming jest about it ... but his final glare shows signs of wanting revenge.
The song itself manages to just creep across the feature and make it so they complement each other immensely. It's no wonder that they've achieved over 1,000,000 hits on YouTube already.

What do you think of this song and the video? Surely you think they're beautiful too.
Paul.
